Altered Sneak Peek!

Welcome to Friday! TGIF!! I am excited to be able to bring you a sneak peek of one of the new sets that will be available on March 1st at Storage Units Ink and More. This set is full of adorable little images for Easter. The set is called Some Bunny Loves You.

I decided it would be fun to combine this with this week's Blogger's Challenge too which was to Alter something. I have so many things around in my studio to alter it was hard to pick what to do but I finally grabbed a plan oval wooden plaque and a old beat up magnet and got to work altering. Here is the results. First the wooden plaque.....

Here is the before picture...

Next came this adorable little magnet. At least it is adorable now. I think it is so cute.

As you can see it wasn't too cute before but it was only 25 cents so of course I bought a whole bunch of them and stored them away for that someday project.

This was such a fun challenge. Nice to use up a few things that have been in my studio for FOREVER! Be sure to check out the other Sneak Peeks for the day

Another Male Birthday Card!

Blues, Browns and Buttons that was the challenge Kerry gave us for this week's 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge. (3CTC2). I really like how this turned out. This was also the sketch yesterday on SCS. The previous post is using the same sketch turned on it's side. The brown panel is embossed with the new Stampin Up embossing plates and then I cut out the three holes with the 1 inch circle punch. The brown is then popped up with dimensionals. Fun fun layout!

Why not play along! We would love to have ya, head right on over to Kerry's blog to leave a link to your card if you do play and remember to use the keyword 3ctc2.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #58

So I got my card done after making the 16 cards on the post before this one and was all ready to take a picture and dropped it on my ink pad that was OF COURSE open and now it has smudges all over it. I was going to fix it but decided that I have had enough for one day, lol. I will fix it in the morning and post then. Sorry for the delay on my sample but here is the sketch.....

I hope you will play along this week. If you missed the players from last week take a look at this post and you can see them all at once with links to their blogs. If you play don't forget to come on back and leave a link on Mister Linky below. Please be sure it is a direct link to the challenge card. Can't wait to see your creations. Go on, get stampin!

16 Cards-0 Stamps-0 Inkpads-1/2 a Simply Scrappin Kit

So quite a while ago I bought the Best Ever Simply Scrappin Kit wanting to create a class making cards from it. I actually forgot all about it, so you can imaging my relief when it was still in this new catalog. So before it retires I thought I should design the class so here it is. I made 16 cards using only the following.

1/2 of the Kits papers and Stickers with lots left over

Some of the following papers for the base of the cards
Kiwi Kiss, Sahara Sand, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze

Black, Old Olive and Ruby Red Brads

Kiwi Kiss ribbon

circle punches, scallop circle punch, oval punch

White Gel pen and a few markers for details.

I am pretty happy with how they turned out. Not sure which is my favorite though. What do you think-which is YOUR favorite?

Here is a group shot followed by individual pictures.

All supplies are 100% current Stampin Up!

Thanks for stopping by today--don't forget to stop back for next week's sketch challenge later tonight or early in the morning. See ya then!
